Pope of Pop
“Warhol was a populist out of generosity – he wanted to translate the things he cared about like sensitivity, love of glamour and spectacle, playfulness, into objects and experiences that could touch many many people.”
I aimed to capture Warhol's art in my craft. By combining his stylistic approaches with my own interpretation of art, I wanted to depict the people's diverse personalities through his signature monochromatic style. To me, the face is an art of its own. The many details of the face is a living art waiting to be captured.
